Prvi dugometražni film DC Studios, Superman, dolazi u kina ovog ljeta u produkciji Warner Bros Pictures. U režiji Jamesa Gunna, koji donosi svoj prepoznatljiv stil, Superman predstavlja novog junaka u rekonstruiranom DC svemiru. Ovaj film nudi jedinstveni spoj epske akcije, humora i emocija, a prikazuje Supermana vođenog suosjećanjem i uvjerenjem u temeljnu dobrotu čovječanstva. Film produciraju Peter Safran i James Gunn, a Gunn je ujedno i redatelj te scenarist, temeljeći priču na likovima iz DC univerzuma, s posebnim naglaskom na Supermana, kojeg su stvorili Jerry Siegel i Joe Shuster.
